| that's too big of an unexplained gap of time. that worries me but that's not necessarily a deal killer. His "answers" are also too vague. Have you looked at the title? Is it a SALVAGE title? I guess my expectations wouldn't be very high for a 19 yo sports car with > 200K miles on it. You didn't mention the price, but if it runs and you can get it for cheap, AND you have lots of extra money for maintenance, then you might be okay. Something smells fishy though.
